A Lifelong Adventure
Growing in our faith is a lifelong journey! It will have its ups and downs and sometimes will feel more like a circle than a straight line! Our confidence is in God to transform us into the people we were created to be. In Philippians 1.6, Paul says “I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.” God will work in us! Our part in the process is to be receptive! One person equated spiritual practices with opening windows into our soul–we just open the window, and God comes in and does the work!
How do we do this? What are the ways we can open our lives to God? What are the next steps I can take in my faith journey? Often this will be different for each person, but there are some steps I can recommend!
