Well, we’ve got a few special events coming up! I’ll list them in chronological order, you know, just to be orderly about it.
Holaway Neighborhood Market and Pancake Breakfast is planned for Wednesday, January 25. You can find more info HEREand HERE. This is a great way to serve our community! We start early–6:15am!
South District Leadership Conference is planned for Saturday, January 28 from 8:30am to 1:30pm. Our new bishop will address the conference. More information and registration information is HERE.
Update on the bishop visiting St James: I’ve received new information, and this is not intended to be a ‘meet and greet’ for the congregation. The bishop just wants to see the church and meet the pastor and lay leader. Sorry for the confusion.
Pancake Brunch with Familias en Amistad will be held Sunday, January 29 at 11:15am. We will join with our friends from Familias en Amistad for a pancake brunch on January 29! This will be after our worship service and before theirs. Come and enjoy good food and good company! Details HERE!
Wesley Cup District Youth Event February 5, 2-4pm St Paul’s UMC Join us for our own version of “The Big Game”. It’s not the Super Bowl, it’s the WESLEY CUP! We will gather at St Paul’s United Methodist Church at 2pm for fun activities. Events will include Oddball, Hungry Hippo, Four Corners Ball Chase, and a trivia competition! All the details are HERE.
Citrus Fruit Harvesting Sunday February 19, 1:30-4:30pm Join us as we harvest citrus fruit around Tucson! Every year, tons of fruit goes unused and wasted. We will partner with Iskashitaa Refugee Fruit Harvesters and pick fruit! The fruit is delivered back to Iskashitaa and is distributed to several groups and organizations that feed hungry people in Tucson. If you have trees, we can harvest, let us know!
