New, first-time revealed, and time-sensitive NEWS!

We can deliver a DVD of the online worship service if that would help you.

I am burdened by the fact that many of you are not able to access the online worship services! As an alternative, I am recording the service as we broadcast it and we can put the service on a DVD that will play in a regular home DVD player. Volunteers will bring this to you and leave it outside your door. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE THE WORSHIP DVD, YOU NEED TO LET ME KNOW! Call the church office (327-5989) and leave a message with your name, phone number, and address, and say you want the DVD. If you know people who would benefit from this service, call them and find out if they can use the DVD and if they want to receive it, and then let me know. Hopefully, we can start this Sunday!

We will need volunteers to deliver the DVDs.
If you can come by the church on Sunday afternoon, pick up a DVD (or two) and deliver them, please let me know. This would be a great way to serve others! You can email me ( or call the church office (327-5989).

Annual Conference is this weekend!
Annual Conference is the annual (I bet you figured that out) gathering of all clergy serving in the Desert Southwest Conference of the United Methodist Church (say that 5 times really fast) and lay delegates from each congregation. Annual Conference is held in June each year in the Phoenix area, but this year, it is being held online. That means you can watch it online!
The Laity Session is Friday June 12 from 1-4pm
The Plenary Session (where legislation is presented) is Saturday June 13 from 9am-4pm.
These sessions will be live-streamed at

Let’s work together to bless Tucson’s hungry folks!
This week, we will work together to make PB&J sandwiches to benefit Casa Maria soup kitchen. Work as a household, or recruit friends, neighbors, and family to help. Bring the sandwiches to St James Sunday, June 14 between 1-4pm and I will take them down to Casa Maria!
There is a great video, more information, and an instruction sheet at
This is a project that your whole neighborhood could work on, or all the households of your extended family!
Our Food Pantry is open on Tuesday and Thursday.
We have some grocery supplies at the church and want to help you if you have a need. I am at the church on Tuesday and Thursday (and often Sunday afternoon). You can make an appointment to stop by to receive items from our food pantry. Call the church (327-5989) or email me to arrange a pick up time.

You can also contact me to DROP OFF and grocery donations. Non-perishable items, only, please. We are very grateful to so many of you who have brought items to the pantry!
